Sisterhood is magic. Creating spaces of belonging for girls, women, and mothers & daughters is my love language. The female life is filled with a variety of Rites of Passage experiences which mark significant life transitions for girls and women: birth of her first child, first menses/period, adolescence, marriage, first moment of intimacy, losing one’s mother, when a mother’s daughter leaves the house, when a girl moves out of her home of origin, the last time a woman breastfeeds her child, a woman’s last menses cycle before menopause, and so on.
I lead ceremonies, gatherings, and groups where women, girls, and mothers and daughters have the opportunity to journey through these Rites of Passage experiences within a sisterhood.
I am passionate about guiding mothers of girls through the transition when their daughters leave the home at 18, groups for girls entering puberty, adult women who have lost their mothers, mother-daughter pairs through life changes, and much more.
